About Chay
Angling has been a huge part of my life for over 40 years, taking me from simply enjoying time beside the water to becoming a qualified Level 2 Angling Coach and professional angling guide. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to contribute to some of the UK’s best-known angling publications, including Angling Times, Angler’s Mail, Improve Your Coarse Fishing, Total Carp, Advanced Carp Fishing, Coarse Fishing Magazine, and Pike & Predators, as well as appearing on Fisherman’s Blues on TALKSPORT with Keith Arthur. I’ve also worked with respected tackle and bait companies and previously ran The Chay Jackson Academy of Angling, helping anglers develop their skills, confidence and understanding of watercraft. My experience covers a wide range of coarse and predator fishing, but what matters most to me is passing on the knowledge I’ve gained and helping others experience everything angling has to offer. Whether someone is picking up a rod for the first time, looking to improve their skills, or simply wants an enjoyable day beside the water, my approach is friendly, patient and built around the individual.
"I can't say enough about the outstanding service I received from Chay. He went above and beyond to meet my angling needs and exceeded expectations."

Such a nice guy! Put me well at ease, even allowing my husband to have a go without any extra charge!

Having quit playing golf due to a bad back, I decided to give fishing a go. Chay spent a few hours with me showing me the basics of float fishing, unhooking fish and looking after my quarry. Since that first session I have been able to catch some cracking fish!

Chay really knows his stuff! I am now confident enough to fish for pike alone after learning how to handle and unhook them!
